Insulated armor is essential for surviving in cold environments. Wearing it reduces the effects of freezing temperatures, and the more pieces you wear, the better protection you'll have.

Any vanilla armor piece can be upgraded to its insulated variant through crafting. Insulated armor retains the same defensive properties as the original but also protects against the cold.

Insulated armor helps prevent the negative effects of extreme cold. However, be cautious when wearing insulated gear in hot environments, as it will increase your body temperature and may lead to overheating.

Vanilla parity

• All armor pieces can be enchanted, dyed, repaired or trimmed following the exact same behavior as their vanilla counterpart.
• Insulated Netherite armor does not have the knockback resistance effect.
